Pooja Bhatt's Jism 3 to feature Maldivian crooner

Pooja has apparently roped in Maldivian crooner Unoosha, aka Kiddy, for the film's music.

Unoosha who is currently in the city recorded a track yesterday, August 27, at Tanay Studios. With this, Unoosha becomes the first individual from Maldives to be associated with Bollywood.

While the track in question will also feature Ali Azmat and K.K. with lyrics about making new beginnings, the song titled 'Kahaan Se Karen Shuru, Yahaan Se' and is composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee.

Sunny Deol to dub for vin diesel in 'Riddick'

Bollywood actor Sunny Deol is said to be in talks to lend his heavy baritone to the voice of Hollywood star Vin Diesel's character in the Hindi dubbed version of sci-fi action film "Riddick". "Riddick" is the third film in "The
Chronicles of Riddick" series, starring Diesel as the title character. It will be released by PVR Pictures in India
Sep 6 in four languages - English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Sunny has been approached for the Hindi dubbed version due to the similarity of his voice with Diesel's. Confirming the development, an official representative of VR Pictures said: "Yes, we have approached Sunny to dub for Vin Diesel for our upcoming release, 'Riddick'.  "He is one of the few actors most well known for his deep and commanding voice. Hence, we feel this will make for a great connect for Indian audiences. Now we are hoping it all goes well and we get to hear his voice in the movie," said the representative. Written and directed by David Twohy, "Riddick" is said to be packed with breathtaking battle sequences. The last film of the franchise released in 2004.

Chennai Expess will cross £2 million in UK

After shattering many a records in India, #ChennaiExpress is on the verge of creating another, albeit this time in UK.

Chennai Expess will cross £2 million in UK and it is after three years that a film has managed to breach the figure. The last being My Name Is Khan. Only fiive films have reached £2 million and all are shahrukh Khan starrers. The market which was super hot from when the overseas market opened up in the mid 90's till around 2008 has been on the downward slide since then.

The top grossers in UK till date are as follows.

1. My Name Is Khan - £2.630,000

2. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham - £2,500,000

3. Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna - £2,061,000

4. Veer Zaara - £2,012,000

5. Chennai Express - £1,925,000 (still running)

6. 3 Idiots - £1,860,000

7. Devdas - £1,690,000

8. Kal Ho Naa Ho - £1,675,000

9. Jab Tak Hai Jaan - £1,621,000

10. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi - £1,502,000

The top five films now are all Shahrukh Khan starrers and nine of the top ten are SRK starrers with 3 Idiots being the only non SRK film.
